The 10th Greek Winter Camp 2022 was completed with great success on February 11-12-13, with the participation of 40 athletes and instructors at the hotel “Manthos Resort and Spa” in the beautiful Pelion, the mountain of the Centaurs.
The winter camp was organized by the Branch chief WKO and country representative of the Greek Shinkyokushinkai, Shihan George Kosmidis, 5 Dan.
During the 3-day seminar, Shihan Kosmidis and Shihan Otario Melikiadis, WKO Branch Chief, taught Kihon, Kata, and Kumite techniques.
The training started in the morning in the snowy outdoor area of the hotel, while in the afternoon in the indoor basketball court where the association had placed the special tatami to carry out the athletes’ training properly.
On the last day of the camp, Dan grading exams were held. The examinees gave their best with a high technical and competitive level and fighting spirit in the 3 hours test. They proved that a serious effort is made to raise the level and the technique in all the Dojos of the Greek Branch.
