The VI SOUTH AMERICAN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP was held on 7th and 8th September 2012, in Barueri – São Paulo – SP.
The competitors from 8 South American countries: Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, have competed for the title of the South American Champion as well as the South American representative for the 5th World Cup, which will be held in Lithuania in 2013.
