The Center Shinkyokushinkai Karate Republic of Uzbekistan “Nur-Has” held the 21st Open Championship among Juniors on May 18-19, 2019, in Navoi city, Uzbekistan.
The organizer was Branch Chief Khasan Nazarov, Country Representative of Uzbekistan.
At the traditional opening ceremony, a congratulatory message from WKO President Kenji Midori for the championship was read and each team performed Karate demonstrations.
112 participants from the regions of the country fought on tatami, and there were also participants from Tajikistan.
There were 11 weitght categories for boys and 5 weight categories for girls in this two-day championship.
By the number of medals, the winners of the 1st place were Karatekas from the team of Samarkand region, the 2nd place was Navoi region, the 3rd place was Bukhara region, the 4th place were fighters from Tadjikistan, and the 5th place was Tashkent region. The championship was held successfully.
