On Saturday March 29th, the 2nd North American Cup was held at the sport-hall of the CEGEP Édouard Mont-Petit in Longueuil, Quebec in a very friendly atmosphere where the Shinkyokushin spirit could be felt and where respect and honour prevailed.
Many fighters, men, women and children of all ages, came with their coaches from the many different regions of Montreal and also some from as far as New Brunswick, to make this Open Tournament a great success. These competitors demonstrated their skills and their technics in combats and in regular katas, elite katas and weapon katas.
This tournament would not have been held without the help of many volunteers who gave their time and put in a lot of effort to make this a wonderful event for all the competitors. We must also thank all the referees who also did a wonderful job.
Everyone is looking forward to the 3rd North American Cup in March 2015.
