The Budo Cup was held in Longueuil Quebec Canada on October 1st 2017 and welcomed 9 Shinkyokushin Dojos with a total of 153 competitors, children and adults, from the Montreal, Laval, West Island and South Shore regions, to participate in kata and kumite competitions. The children divisions started at 9:30 in the morning and the adult divisions started at 1:30 in the afternoon.
The Budo Cup gave every competitor the opportunity to realize where he or she stands against ohters. Through challenging themselves, they were able to fine tune their skills and broaden their knowledge, taking learning out of the Dojo and on the tatami!
We are looking forward to the spring of 2018 and welcome competitors from even more regions of Canada to the next Budo Cup. Osu.
