February 11, 2017 in Sports Hall “Podpromie” in Rzeszow took place the 7th edition of the tournament Poland Carpathia Karate Cup 2017.
The tournament was organized by Karpinski Branch – Rzeszow Club Martial Arts System managed by Sensei Janusz Wisniewski. Main judge was Shihan Mark Krejpcio. In the competition participated a record number of 517 competitors from 65 clubs from 11 European countries: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, and Ukraine, represented by various Karate organizations: WKO, IFK, Matsushima, Rengokai, Seido, KWF, IKO, WKB, Sosai Poland, and Shidokan. The competitors participated in 50 categories divided by age and weight.
In the team classification, the 1st place was won by Club IPPON – Lithuania, 2nd place Yakuzak – Hungary, 3rd club from Lviv – Ukraine.
