On April 27-29, the European Black Belt Seminar and Referee Course was held in Poland. The EKO seminar and course was organized by the PFKS (Polsih Karate Federation Shinkyokushinkai).
152 people from 14 countries came to the center of Japanese Martial Arts, Dojo Stara Wies in Poland: Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, and Ukraine, and the instructors team: Shihan, Brian Fitkin 8 Dan, Howard Collins 8 Dan, Furko Kalman 8 Dan, Jan Bulow 7 Dan, Michael Soderkvist 7 Dan, Jesus Talan 6 Dan, Remigiusz Karpinski 6 Dan, and Alexander Goncharenko 5 Dan.
The unique Japanese scenery of Dojo Stara Wies, many participants with high grades, legendary European Shihans, all together made it possible to create a unique atmosphere. A big thank you to all participants, for being involved in all training sessions.
A referee course was also held during the period, in which two sessions reviewed regulations and judging issues for the 96 participants. The course was conducted by Shihan Michael Soderkvist and Alexander Goncharenko.
