In recognition of the outstanding work of Shihan Furko Kalman, on 28th April the Hungarian Olympic Committee awarded him with a Hungarian Olympic Committee Honor Medal acknowledging his work for establishing and spreading hungarian Kyokushin Karate for more than 40 years in Hungary.
This award is the highest recognition of the Hungarian sport.
The Honor Medal Award was given by Mr. Borkai Zsolt – President of Hungarian Olympic Committee- and Mr. Szabó Bence – Secretary General of Hungarian Olympic Committee- in the presence of all Hungarian sport federation leaders, for the first time in the history of Hungarian Karate.
