Date: 21-24 July 2022
Place: Révfülöp, Hungary
Organizer: Hungary branch (Branch Chief József Kálóczi / Branch Chief Ferenc Kovács)
With the participation of 4 country representatives, 5 WKO Branch Chiefs and more than 80 black belts, the Hungarian Kálóczi and Kovács branches held their 2022 summer training camp and their Dan exam on 21st to 24th July in Révfülöp, Hungary. Also participating in the camp were Croatian Shihan Milan Garasic, Romanian Shihan Anca Wallmen and Slovakian Sensei János Markovics and their students, as well as the excellent Lithuanian competitor Sensei Brigitta Gustaityte.
The camp began with a tribute to our master Kálmán Shihan Furkó, who has passed away last year, and then we improved the knowledge of the participating Karatekas in three hard training sessions a day. Nearly thirty people took part in the Dan exam, presenting the results of their hard preparation over the past years.
The international participants proved the strength and organization of WKO Shinkyokushin, and we hope it will continue next year.
