From 27th Jan to 1st Feb, WKO India branch held the free self defense workshop for women.
The event was inaugurated and supported by Honorable Sports Minister of West Bengal.
Under the supervision of Branch Chief, Mr. Shibayan Ganguly, the instructor of India headquarter have coordinated the whole workshop. The curriculum of the workshop were Basic techniques for self defense, basic self defense methods, General Counseling and use of day to day commodities.
There were over 100 participants during the period and the event was tremendously successful.
This has greatly up lifted the image of our organization in the society and has made prominent the utility of Full Contact karate in self defense . It was intensely covered by the Media .
We are making it a regular feature of our promotion movement and will be organizing such free workshops all over West Bengal and India.
