Italian Branch held the International Shinkyokushinkai Karate Championships on March 29, 2025, in Manerba del Garda, Italy. The event was organized by Sensei Alex Potinga in collaboration with the Italian Shinkyokushinkai Association (A.I.K) and Shihan Francesco Fina (Italian Country Representative). More than 150 athletes from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Poland, Hungary and of course Italy participated in the Tournament.
In conjunction with the International Championship, the 1st Para Budo Championship was also held with the precious collaboration of Shihan Koen Spitaels, which represented a wonderful moment of integration and social inclusion.
The entire tournament was conducted in the name of maximum sportsmanship and commitment while also witnessing performances of the highest technical level. Despite the presence of very strong athletes and with greater international experience, Italy managed to stand on the top step of the podium seven times, precisely in the following categories:
