The summer camp of the PFKS (Polska Federacja Karate Shinkyokushinkai) was held at the heart of the Polish mountains in Zakopane from August 29 to September 1.
Special guests were Andre Gilbert 8th Dan (Canada) and Kenta Mori 3rd Dan (Japan). 92 people participated in the camp, and trainings were held 4 times a day. Trainings were also conducted by Polish instructors: Remigiusz Karpinski 6th Dan, Eugeniusz Dadzibug 6th Dan, Jacek Lamot 5th Dan, Mariusz Mazur 5th Dan, Marek Krejpcio 5th Dan, Wojciech Radziewicz 4th Dan, Pawel Orysiak 4th Dan, and Aleksandra Bukowa 2nd Dan. The trainings were held at the Central Olympic Preparation Center, and during the camp, 26 people challenged for the grading exam (1st Dan to 3rd Dan). As part of the morning training, there was a run to the top of Kasprowy Wierch, with a height of 1,987 meters above sea level.
