Portugal Branch held the Trofa Kyokushin International Tournament on 8th June 2024 in Trofa.
This event marked the debut of the Trofa Kyokushin International Tournament in the annual calendar of the AKA – Ave Kyokushin Association (Associação Kyokushin do Ave), in partnership with Porto Kyokushin Association, Porto Karatedo Association, as well as local authorities including the Trofa City Council and the Parish Council of Alvarelhos and Guidões.
The event was attended by the WKO European regional representative, Shihan Remigiusz Karpinski, whose participation was a great privilege. He brought his team of talented athletes and referees who contributed significantly to the brilliance and success of our tournament.
It was an honor to see the Karate community come together to celebrate this moment, which will undoubtedly leave a lasting mark on the karate scene in Portugal. The enthusiasm and dedication of all involved were evident, and the event exceeded all expectations, both in terms of organization and participation.
