The Romanian Summer camp was held in Vata de Jos resort, in the middle of Transylvania from 15th to 18th August 2024.
At this occasion, more than 230 Romanian karateka had the honor to train under the supervision of two times All Japan and World Championship medalist, Sensei Daiki Kato, who is the student of the famous fighter, Shihan Kensaku Yamamoto.
Every training, the Romanian students trained Kihon, Kata and mostly Kumite techniques from one of the finest competitors of Japan, Sensei Kato. With his smooth style, relaxed attitude and explosive power, Sensei Daiki took his time to explain his style and his favorite techniques. With kindness and attention, he walked among the students and gave advice on how to improve their technique and become better fighters.
The camp ended with Kyu and Dan exam held under the supervision of Romanian Shihans Anca Wallmen, Petrut Grigore, Stoia Sorin, Traian Dumbravean, Sorin Popescu and Cristian Boldut. Sensei Daiki Kato was also present as an observer.
The event was a great success and an important lesson for all the participants. Thank you, Sensei Kato! Osu!!!
