On April 27-28, 2024, the Ukrainian Open Kyokushin Karate Championship – “Fighters of the Nation” was held at the main sports arena in the Kyiv Sports Palace.
A record number of participants took part in the Championship – 1200 fighters (117 coaches from 67 sports clubs). This is the largest championship in the history of Ukrainian Kyokushin, both in terms of participants and in its scale in terms of organization and conduct.
Athletes of different age categories and training levels from 18 regions of Ukraine and 16 Federations competed for the title of champion in 95 age and weight categories.
