Uruguay 1st Fullcontact Karate Summer Camp took place on 17th and 18th February 2024, in Bello Horizonte, Canelones Department.
With the participation of members of Kyokushinkan, Kyokushin Union, Independent Kyokushin, (guests of Shotokan SKIF) and Shinkyokushinkai, various activities were conducted on the beach, in the gym and outdoors.
Despite it being a time of leave and summer vacations, more than 70 members from different organizations participated in the camp and shared training, talks and meetings in an extraordinary climate of fraternization, friendship, and collaboration.
We have established the common purposes of having the next national tournament of UFKO in 2024 and the 1st World Fullcontact Karate Championship in 2025, as well as the development of serious joint work for the growth of Fullcontact Karate in the country and the region.
